Docks of the Bay is the CanDock dealer for Virginia and North Carolina, and we run a growing boat lift service program. We sell more work than our own crews can get to.

A customer buys a CanDock floating dock from us. The kit ships out, and somebody local puts it in the water. If that is near you, it can be you.
Our Services program keeps boat lifts running — inspections, cables, motors, seasonal work. Steady, repeat visits rather than one-off jobs.
General dock repair work — decking, hardware, pilings, storm damage. Customers call us for it every week and we cannot cover every creek.

Your shop goes on our contractor map for your area, with the trades you picked. That is what we look at when a job comes in.
A job shows up in your area, we call or email you with the details. You take it or pass. You get paid per job — no monthly anything.
We cover Virginia and North Carolina — the Chesapeake Bay, the Northern Neck, Hampton Roads and the Seven Cities, the Eastern Shore, and down through the Outer Banks and the North Carolina sounds.
Docks of the Bay is out of White Stone, Virginia. Our own crews handle the work close to home. Everything past that comes to contractors on this list.
